Good Practices on Cities complete the cycle of GP Catalunya - Europe, in the sense of promoting the transference of knowledge and exchange of experiences at the level of cities. In this sense the city of Barcelona has a history of local transformation led by Maragall. It not only became an international actor but also a potential model to export and of interest for other cities. In this regard the Foundation, based on Barcelona model, can build bridges of dialogue and cooperation with cities in similar situations, offering services to all governments (local, metropolitan, provincial, regional or national) or to public or private institutions, who wish to leader processes of urban transformation.

On November 3rd and 4th took place within the Mediterranean Economic Week, the City Mediterranean Forum 2009, at the Lonja de Mar in Barcelona.
