The governor of Rio de Janeiro, Sergio Cabral and his team visited this morning the Foundation during his trip in Barcelona to visit the Olympic Village. The meeting with the Director of the Foundation and some members of Global Barcelona Group has been focused to exchange ideas and knowledge of the Barcelona '92 Olympic experience. After that they visited the infrastructures of the Olympic Village accompanied by MH Pasqual Maragall.

Last 28th Januray was hold the first European Thursday of 2010 at Ateneu Barcelonès, with the collaboration of European Parliament in Barcelona. The debate took a public forum format and was attended by the participation of three catalan's MEP: Oriol Junqueras, Raimon Obiols and Ramon Tremosa. The TV conductor of TVE in Catalonia "59 seconds", Cristina Puig, was the moderator of the event. The debate was divided in three blogs: economy, social and citizenship and  took many interest and public participation that filled the room, all them paying attention to hear their questions that they made previously by internet or at the same moment of the debate.
